Iran’s ‘Eaten’ to compete at SICAF in South Korea

The Seoul Int'l Cartoon and Animation Festival in South Korea is to screen Iran’s ‘Eaten’.

The Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival (SICAF) in South Korea has set to screen Iran’s short animation ‘Eaten’.

‘Eaten’, directed by Mohsen Rezapour, will compete at the 23rd edition of the SICAF.

The film is about the life in a mysterious and unknown planet.

Earlier reports said Iranian animated films ‘Son of the Sea’ directed by Abbas Jalali-Yekta, ‘Mr. Deer’ by Mojtaba Mousavi, Mohammad-Ali Soleimanzadeh’s ‘Black or White’ and ‘The Incomplete’ made by Erfan Parsapour will also participate at the SICAF.

Some 103 animated films from 28 countries will compete at the 23rd edition of the SICAF.

The SICAF is one of the most prominent animation festivals in Asia.

The 23rd edition of the festival “hopes to not only preserve past traditions, but also discover with new, exciting trends within the animation industry.”

The upcoming edition of the event will take place on July 17-21, 2019.
